This property is absolutely amazing! The house is roomy and filled with fun things to do, both inside and out! The grounds are also wonderful with horses, goats, chickens and more! It’s an outstanding value for what you get and the grounds keepers are super helpful! If the need arises, I’d book it again! The host is very nice and supportive! I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful, peaceful farmhouse with all the modern amenities. The porch was a great place to gather and spend time with family and the host provides lots of games, etc to entertain everyone.

Nice country getaway

If you've looking for a nice relaxing stay in the country you've looking at the right place. Several of my friends and I stayed at this very beautiful old farm house. The house has lots of room for largers groups and if you need anything the owners are great to help you out!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this unusual farmhouse. It was very clean and well stocked. The ground around it absolutely beautiful. Our granddaughter had a wonderful time on the swing, creek and seeing the animals. Everyone really had a great time. The hospitality was wonderful. Jeff and Donna were so very kind and helpful. Thank you!

Country Retreat

Property is as described. Farm house is huge and owners are working on the property to improve it. Very spacious and wrap around porch was wonderful. Would definitely consider staying again in the future.

Unique Lodging on a Lovely Property

The farmhouse itself is beautiful with plenty of space and lots of unique features. I loved that almost every bedroom has its own bathroom which gave our group privacy and plenty of room to spread out. It was conveniently located close to a major freeway and shopping, yet private enough to provide the experience we were looking for. We loved watching the animals outside and even fed the horse! The owner was welcoming and responsive to questions - I would definitely stay here again.

Family stay

Enjoyed the long driveway. Very private. Nice large porch to relax. Yard was very nice for kids to play. A few imperfections (squeaky upstairs floor, upstairs toilet area very narrow space, low lighting in living room) but these things will happen with a classic older home. Loved the look of all the hardwood floors. A lot of interesting charm. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we're thankful for the opportunity to visit this place.

Our teenaged grandchildren were wowed and asked us how we found such a fabulous place! The bedrooms had character. One had a whirlpool tub. The beautiful and impressive main staircase banisters were imported from England, but the grandchildren were equally intrigued by the back staircases the servants had used.The grounds were nice as well. You felt the history. There was a farm implement from the 1800s that had a bush growing around it, intertwining it.

This location is beautiful and peaceful. There's a long driveway to reach the quaint restored farmhouse, which I believe was built in 1850, so you don't hear any road noise. There were 12 of our family staying for four nights and five days. We can't list just one favorite thing about it, but the large porch that surrounds a good part of the house has multiple seating areas and end-to-end picnic tables where we enjoyed several meals. The dining room table is large, and there were several games played there with three generations participating. The kitchen cupboards are well stocked, and we prepared all our meals there. If you've never stayed in a house of this age, there's something of which you should be aware. Back in the day, there weren't furnaces. Rooms were heated by fireplaces, and the bedrooms were connected one after the other with a bathroom somewhere in the middle. There are no hallways like in modern construction. Of course, this farmhouse has been fully modernized and even has air conditioning. The other thing is that the bedroom layouts on VRBO aren't fully accurate. One of the bedrooms says it has two queen beds and two double beds. Another says there's a Murphy bed, which is a bed stored in the wall and pulled down for sleeping. There is no murphy bed. We could not reach the host in order to get the code to get in, so we waited for 30 minutes until my husband located the caretakers who live on the property. The host apologized profusely.

Amazing property; amazing owners!

This is a gorgeous house and the most peaceful setting! There was a discrepancy in the listing, causing us to be short on beds. Our hosts immediately responded with apologies and offers of additional beds to help. An honest mistake, and they did all they could to fix it. These folks are new hosts and big plans, and I look forward to staying here again!

Gorgeous and full of charm!

We absolutely loved our stay at this farmhouse! The rooms are very spacious and the beds are super comfortable. Everything was very clean and organized, even with labels in the kitchen. The wraparound porch has a ton of interesting seating options. The kitchen and dining room are large and easy to use and there was a ton of pantry space. The house was easy to find and very private. There are people that come to care for the farm and the animals but they don’t bother guests. Lebanon has a lot of great food delivery options so we really didnt have to leave. The hosts were quick to respond and friendly. Overall our party of 7 was very comfortable and happy with accommodations. This has been one of our favorite stays of all time. If we come back to the area we would love to stay again!

What a lovely place for a family getaway. The house is so full of charm and character, big enough that everyone got a space to call their own. (5 adults and 2 kids, 8 & 9)The kitchen was wonderful, as was the big dining area. All the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Although I have to say, I think the best part of the house for our family was the porch; we spent a lot of time out there, despite the warm temperatures. I also have to say, my wife and I planned this entire trip around going to Soak City and King's Island, but for our granddaughters, the highlight was playing on the swing tied to the huge maple tree out front. One of them was on that swing pretty much every free moment of our visit! That made my wife and I so happy. Those are the types of things that create lasting core memories for kids of that age. We are already talking about a return trip to make more memories.
