“The location was excellent, for walking, and if walking is too much, the taxi service is excellent. The breakfast here is lovely, definitely would stay here again!”

“Location is wonderful, a few easy steps to Commercial Street, harbor, etc. The property is old and very much in need of refurbishment. There is evidence that the management is working to that end. Restaurant was closed, which is challenging if staying on the weekend because there are literally only a handful of places to eat on a Sunday and reservations are hard to come by. I stayed 2 nights and there was no housekeeping available unless requested. The front desk is not manned 24/7 but mobile……

“Good location. Room was small with old furniture but clean. Dining room/restaurant was dusty: tables and floors were clean but evidence that corners, blinds, and deep cleaning does not happen often. Food options were quite good. Breakfast was good and well-served.”

“The hotel is very well situated for exploring the full area of the Shetland Islands. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of parking space and there is a fuel station next door and a very good fish and chip shop across the road, both of which are very useful.”
