"This was our favorite place we stayed during our week in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The grounds were beautiful overlooking a valley. Easy walk to the town center. John was such a great host and tended bar until we were finished. We loved our stay"

"This hotel was a highlight of our trip; we received much larger rooms than we'd expected, and the entire property was incredibly clean and modern. The restaurant was nice to have on our first night and featured a wide variety of cuisines. A full breakfast in bed was only €10. The only flaws with our stay were that we weren't provided with a hair dryer in either room, and no laundry service was available. The latter was solved by a convenient outdoor laundry mat at the gas station next door, but besides this, everything was above and beyond!"

The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the rooms have contemporary amenities while maintaining an historical ambiance. The lounge served excellent food for lunch and dinner, with an absolutely delicious Sticky Toffee Pudding that is sure to impress Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry!❤️❤️ The breakfast is excellent with ample buffet and à la carte selections. The staff is VERY courteous, considerate, and helpful! Excellent 11am historical tour. Beautiful grounds for walking/hiking. Highly recommend staying here!"

"The room was spotless and spacious. The only drawback was, it was at the front and the traffic could be heard passing through the night. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was excellant and set you up for the day ahead. We only used the bar on our first night for an evening meal. The food was very good and the Guinness hit the spot. All in all a very good hotel and would stay here again."
