“Perfect place for me to work. Lots of space for one person (or 2). Cozy Aga. Atmospheric large gardens. Excellent and delightful on site manager. This is old fashioned and hasn’t been decorated for a while. But a well equipped kitchen set up. Excellent large kitchen table and endless possibilities to cook on the Aga. Note a modern oven, hob and microwave were there too. Friendly village. Two pubs. Long deepest Devon walks. Quite a way on little roads to get anywhere. I was there five weeks and……

“we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. Would come……

“We had a wonderful 2 nights in the treehouse - such a beautiful peaceful spot. Andy and Caroline were excellent hosts - we were very grateful for the use of the 4 wheel drive to get us down the track and it was interesting to hear the story of the treehouse. It was a unique and memorable experience and we would highly recommend it to others. Being off grid for a couple of days was very relaxing and we enjoyed reading, drinking wine and watching the birds and bats over the lake. We would love to……
