It's in a great, family friendly, neighborhood. This is the second time we've stayed here over Christmas, and probably won't be the last time. We were easily able to host a family dinner thanks to the well stocked kitchen. The house itself was just big enough for everyone to visit without feeling like we were tripping over each other. We didn't bring our dog this time, but that was a big selling point last time we rented. The fenced in back yard is a great place for travel weary dogs to stretch their legs. This house is just 10 minutes from the track as well as the airport - very convenient. It’s also only 15 minutes to get downtown, about 45 minutes from Frankfurt and less than 90 minutes to Louisville. Plus, there are several great distilleries nearby, so it’s a perfect location for exploring this area. House was very clean and comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Kitchen equipped to handle a lot of cooking. Hosts were communicative and helpful without being intrusive. We attended the horse races, went for a hike at the Red River Gorge, participated in an all day bourbon tour (had a driver) and explored Lexington one afternoon. We stayed at this lovely home in a nice neighborhood with comfortable beds, nice bathrooms/kitchen and a cute deck with firepit. Our hosts were very kind and very easy to work with before, during and after our stay. The home was in the perfect location for all of our needs and was just a short drive to the park! The home was ultra clean, well equipped and the beds were oh so comfy! Beds and sheets were comfortable. Baths and kitchen were clean. Nice towels and soap, shampoo & conditioner were convenient.
