We got exactly what was described. Nice quiet little cabin and it was great for our weekend getaway! We did arrive late and were unable to find the bath house without the map. My only critique would be to include the map with arrival instructions. Other than that, it was perfect!! Thank you so much, we'll be back for sure!

Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Will most likely reserve again.
Enjoyed my stay at the rustic cabin! I travel a lot for business and it was refreshing to stay at a cabin instead of a motel room. Will book again if I ever need to travel to this area.
Simple, quaint, nice for an off the grid stay with peace and quiet in nature. Owners are very hospitable and have excellent communication. They even checked in on us when we were running later than expected.
Our experience was one of absolute joy. This cabin is truly a treasure and oasis from the maddening world. My hosts were gracious and always made themselves available. I would wholeheartedly recommend this home away from home for anyone looking to find a piece of peace. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Kamran Vala
We spent the night when it was 22 degrees outside. The heater inside helped a great deal, and it was still pretty cold. It was an extremely lovely experience despite the weather, and the beds were cozy. It is pretty rustic, so expect that, and you will be quite happy and cozy.
We were greeted upon arrival by a very friendly dog. It was late but the motion lights turned on so we could see.
There is a small ac wall unit so that was a nice surprise (we packed fans). The beds were cozy and comfy. The bath house was a short walk and had everything you need.
It was nice to be disconnected (no tv or cell service in the cabin). There was a queen beed, full size and two twins (bunk bed style). The cabin had a camping toilet (so you don’t have to trek to the bathhouse in the middle of the night),
Very friendly responsive owners. We had trouble with the lock the second night and called them and they came to help.
We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
We enjoyed our first visit so much that our kids insisted we go back! Unfortunately, both times were very short stays (1-2 nights) but hopefully we’ll be able to try for a longer one next time! The hosts are a quiet family and despite the cabin being on the same property as their home, they are incredibly courteous and try to stay out of our way. They even messaged us several times to make sure everything was satisfactory, apologized for not having time to mow (it wasn’t even overgrown) and asked us if mowing the next day would bother us. It didn’t. The cabin is so isolated, you can’t hear much outside your individual site anyway. The property itself is exactly as described. The cabin is identical to how we remember it was almost two years ago but they’ve actually opened 5 additional campsites with wooden platforms and bell tents. They have huge plans for the future including some activities like archery, and I am so excited to see how they grow. Currently, the cabin has electricity, running water and temp control but still feels almost completely off-grid in the best way. They are planning on modernizing it just a little more, although we love it exactly how it is. We came to unplug for the weekend and it was fantastic! Our family is so grateful you shared your home with us again, thank you!
I stayed to attend a family member’s graduation at UGA. Easy access to and from Athens. Hosts are responsive and accommodating. I would stay here again.
I enjoyed my stay. Since I travel for business, I typically take lodging in a local motel. This was a nice change of pace. The host, Maralee, was very responsive to any of my questions or any small glitches in the accommodations. I slept very peacefully here, that is for sure!

I needed a cheap and easy getaway for my birthday after an incredibly difficult year. This was perfect!
Clean & simple Cabin, comfortable - memory foam throughout. Relax, as you can go 30 mins at a time without hearing traffic.
The bathouse is separate from the cabin. As long as you prepare for that you are good.
Cafe Racer and G Brand BBQ are 10/10, phenomenal, must-try restaurants. This home was a wonderful in - for me and my girlfriend. Even got to see some beautiful color mushrooms pop up after the rain. I’ll treasure the weekend I stayed!

We did not stay at this property, we were very disappointed at the condition of this property, I was able to get the door unlocked one time, I went in and saw the condition of the rental, I went back out to get my wife to look at it, she said she could not stay a night at this property and also we could not get back in, it kept reading error, we immediately contacted Vrbo, we talked to a Vrbo representative 3 separate times, on the second phone call, we were connected to the property rep.and we demanded a refund and she said we could get one but we had to go through Vrbo, we were switched back to the Vrbo rep who proceeded to hang up on us. We called Vrbo back and spoke to Garvu, who was very helpful and who said we would get a email supporting our entire credit refund, which I did not receive, we had to drive back home last night, there were no hotel rooms available in Athens because of the home football game, our entire trip was ruined. the property was completely unacceptable, we could not and did not stay there a single minute. If I do not receive a message from Vrbo authorizing a complete refund from this disgusting property, I will contact my credit card companies fraud division and demand a refund and an investigation!
It was very private and quiet and a secluded area. It was a clean, cute little place. Only thing that drove me crazy was the acorns that kept falling on the tin roof. Overall great stay!
