For our first visit to the Natural Bridge State Park area, we chose to stay at a Vrbo property nearby in the Lexington , VA area. The Rustic Bayberry property nailed it on every category. We had great communications from the property owner & truly enjoyed our time there. Due to 100 feel like temps on the July 4th weekend, we found ourselves at the property most afternoons relaxing as the property’s cooling system was a welcomed item during the heat. Thanks to the Meads for a fabulous Vrbo property for our trip to the Natural Bridge!

My husband and I wanted a weekend away from the world to get peace and quiet. This was most definitely the place. Absolutely adorable place and away from it all! Very comfortable setting and loved watching the baby deer and its parents walk past the cabin.

The cottage is very clean and all necessary amenities were provided, but there are animals nesting in the attic and back wall of the house. It was difficult to sleep because of the noises they made coming and going.

Beautiful Cottage Experience

The cottage was immaculate and checkin was super easy. The bed is quite possibly the best bed I've ever slept in! For a couple on a weekend or week long getaway this is a perfect place to stay that's close enough to Lexington to check out and explore but not in the middle of anything for some private time.
