NICE APARTMENT near beach, mountain, minimarket, bar, restaurants, main services

"Orange apartment" is located in Lezzeno, a small village on the shores of Lake Como (6 km from Bellagio).

It is a perfect place to spend an enjoyable holiday with spectacular scenery encompassing the blues of the lake and the greens of the moutain forests.
It is ideal for lovers of water sports (the apartment is 500 m. from an international centre for water skiing and wakeboarding) and also for those who like to go fishing.

The apartment is in a very peaceful location on the lakeside and has every convenience (washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, gas hob with 4 rings, electric oven, microwave, iron and ironing board, clothes drying rack, hair dryer, TV, WiFi).

It is completely renovated and tastefully furnished.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a house with two other apartments on the first and second floors.

It's 50 square meters. It has a dining/living room with an kitchen and a sofà that can become two single bed, a bathroom with a shower and a double bedroom with a bed of 160x200 cm.
There is a very good wi-fi connection.

The apartment has an outddor space with a table, parasol and chairs.
The private parking is nexto to.

It is 50 m. from a stony beach and the bus stop, 20 m. from the local grocery store and bar, about 350 m. from the nearest restaurants ( restaurants Aurora, Abbate, Locanda La Fornace). The Post Office, Bank, Church and Parmacy are about 1 km. away, as is the pier from which boats depart for both sides of the lake.

Really clean apartment with thoughtful host in authentic Italian village with nearby lake access
Location: Our first visit here and we stayed for 5 nights but felt like staying for longer. A good mix of tourists and very friendly and polite locals. Not crowded at all. Excellent access to attractions like the cobbled town of Bellagio (by bus) and local amenities are perfect: a well-stocked little supermarket with fresh bread (under 1 minute walk). There is a restaurant and access to the beach (under 2 minute walk) with a beautiful paved seating area and only a few stone steps (and wheelchair ramp) to the pebbled beach with direct access to swim or fish (direct access to the water seems quite rare for Lake Como). Mid-afternoon is best for young families; early evening by the beach is a tranquil way to end the day. House: Really clean, modern and well-kept throughout. There is a lake view from the living room window which you can see from the kitchen table. Easy to use shower that had hot water any time of the day. Really comfortable bed with very clean bedding. The house is lovely and cool which is perfect to escape the heat of the midday (no need for air conditioning) but there is an abundance of extra bedding in the hallway cupboard (including 2 goose down duvets) if you feel cold at night. There is a lovely patio with a shaded table and 4 chairs which we used to eat outside as well as 2 sun loungers. Gina’s father and uncle have managed the paved private off-street parking perfectly so that there is enough greenery to enjoy sunbathing. Host (& Service): Really welcoming and attentive as well as very polite yet professional. Gina is someone who champions her local area; she lent us an information folder that included things that I couldn’t find on the internet. Gina is very thoughtful and included things like a bottle of chilled water, rock salt and washing powder. She respected our space but was always ready straight away if I had a question (she lives nearby). Gina and her family went above and beyond with hosting. We arrived late on Saturday and the next day was a local Holiday so the next morning she drove us to a larger supermarket and dropped us off in Bellagio and even put our shopping away! Andre (her partner) drove us to Como train station when we left (as it was quite early). So unexpected and we are so grateful! Tips: Get off at Bus Stop 10 (Google said Bus Stop 9) from Como and travel light (cabin bags). If you have time, take a day off from sightseeing to relax and recharge in Gina's Orange Apartment and at the local beach.

Peacefull Getaway!
We stayed at the apartment for 4 nights and really enjoyed every minute. the neighborhood was peaceful and serene which was nice to return to after a long day of visiting the surround towns. From there it was a 2-3 minute walk to the bus stop and a 15 minute walk to the boat dock. From there we went to Bellagio, Lenno and Varenna. Gina gave great advice on sites to see. There was a wonderful binder in the room that gave loads of information on things to do and see. It also had the bus and boat schedule which Gina also went over with us upon arrival. We ate our dinners there in Lezzeno. There's a few great spots super close -walking distance. Just a note: we took the bus from Como to Lezzeno which cost 3.20 Euro each. It was about a 45 minute ride and you get off on stop #10. There's several stops in Lezzeno, but #10 is only a few minutes from the Orange Apt. VERY convenient!!

A perfect stay in a lovely apartment
For the 4th time we spent our summer holiday in Lezzeno in one of Ginas apartments. The orange apartment is very nice, clean, has everything you need for a wonderful stay and has a perfect location - close to the lake, close to grocery shopping and close to restaurants. It also has a lovely terrace where we spent a lot of time. Lezzeno is a fine town with good opportunities to visit other parts of the lake - either by boat, or by bus, or by your own car. You find a lot of villas, viewpoints and nice cities around the lake that might be worth a visit. Gina, her father and her uncle do everything they can to ensure that you have a perfect stay.Gina has several ideas of places that might be interesting to visit, her father and uncle ensure that the outside area is perfect. We recommend the orange apartment (and also the two other apartments owned by Gina) and we will certainly come back in the future.

A great location, nice & clean & all the amenities needed. Buses were great on time along with the ferry boats too which was ideal for getting to locations around the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay sampling the local restaurants was fab as were all great food & hosts.

Excellent accommodation. Modern and very very clean.
Let me first start with the landlady, Gina. She is such a lovely friendly lady who offers an excellent service from beginning to end. Very knowledgeable of the area so make sure you take note of the information she offers you for the surrounding area. The accommodation we had was on the ground floor so don't expect to get a lake view from your window or the patio. But the private patio is prepared for you daily. Furniture are taken in at night if it's raining but when you're up your patio furniture is out. Gina offers other apartments in the same building which have balconies and with higher views. I have to say, for the price we paid, it was perfect. And if you want a lake view, well it's literally a 2 minute walk to the lake side. The grocery store is virtually outside your door and there's a typical Italian local bar next to it. Bellagio is a 10 or 15 minutes drive. There's a lot to see and do and if you're into walking also, you won't be disappointed. Going back to Gina, if we go to lake Como again, which I'm sure we will, I'll be going back to stay in one of Gina's apartments.

Well equipped and modern apartment in Lezzeno.
Arrived at apartment to be greeted by Gina. After being shown the apartment Gina continued to explain the local areas of interest, places to eat and the public transport system. Perfect start to holiday. The neighbouring town of Bellagio was very easy to get to using either public transport (bus or boat) or by car. Bellagio with its cobbled lanes, fascinating buildings and shops was great. The whole area of lake Como has many well marked out walks (look out for the red and white stripes). Managed to do a few of these in Lezzeno and Bellagio which was a great way to see the stunning scenery. There is so many grand buildings and gardens in the area, Villa Carlotta and Villa del Balbianello both very easy to get to by boat and a great day out. Would definitely recommend Lezzeno as a good location, The apartment as good accommodation at a reasonable price and of course not forgetting Gina who made us feel very welcome. It was also reassuring that Gina was close by to assist us if needed.

Very nice app. on beautiful location
The appartment at the lake Como was very good. The owner "Gina Vaccani" was a very warm, gentle and nice person. She made it very easy for us. She had a map with a lot of points of interest. The app. was fuly equiped with everything you need in a house. I can't think of anything that I missed on our stay. The house was not very warm when outside the temperature was about 30 degrees. There was a little beach (Stones) at about a 5 minute walk where only the locals go.

The best place for summer holiday
It is the second time we have stayed in this apartment and before that we stayed in the apartment in the top floor. It is a really nice place and Bruna is the most helpful and friendly owner. She is happy to tell about possibilities for activities in the area. The apartment is well equipped and it has a nice and big terrace, where we spent the most of the time. Lezzeno is a nice, little town and the most authentic village we have visited by Lake Como. We would like to recommend this place to other interested holiday visitors - we have already decided to come back next year.

Beautiful place to stay!
4 adults stayed for a week. Apartment had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Lezzeno is lovely, and Gina is a fantastic host - she took care of absolutely everything! We especially enjoyed the outside chairs and tables as we were able to take advantage of the beautiful weather and eat outside.

FIRST CLASS APARTMENT
Have just had a week in Gina's apartment. She is one of the nicest people you could meet. The apartment is absolutely pristine, a complete home from home. Lovely large and comfortable bed. Gina was very helpful with regards to places to visit, restaurants etc. She even took us in her own car to the supermarket in Bellagio and gave us a whistle stop tour, that we were most grateful for. A couple of minutes walk from the apartment is the local shop and bar/pub which is great. Hotel Aurora which is about 10 minutes walk from apartment serves up beautiful food and takeaway pizzas !! Would definitely recommend staying in this apartment and Gina is a wonderful host and cannot wait to return.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour chez Gina. Une personne soucieuse du confort de ses invités! Non seulement l'appartement est très propre et décoré avec goût mais il est équipé de tout le nécessaire de base pour séjourner en toute tranquillité. Gina nous a accueilli chaleureusement, nous a conseillé les lieux les plus beaux à visiter. Pour notre première expérience en Italie, nous n'avons pas été déçu! La région est magnifique. Nous avons adoré la tranquillité qui régnait à Lezzeno et le mode de vie de ses habitants. C'est avec le coeur gros que nous sommes repartis, mais de merveilleux souvenirs et paysages pleins la tête. C'est sans hésiter que je recommande cette location (et son hôtesse). Un grand merci à Gina !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gina made us welcome from the very moment we met her. Nothing is too much trouble. It is clear that she enjoys looking after her guests and wants them to have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The beauty of Lake Como was beyond our expectations and Gina makes sure that all the information about the area is available. The appartment is very convenient for the bus service into Bellagio and Como and there is a small shop on your doorstep. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, gemütlich, sauber und komplett ausgestattet. Parkplatz auch für große Autos gut geeignet. Der Strand ist ca 3 Minuten entfernt, eine Bar mit Pizza, Pasta und anderen Basics sowie ein Minimarkt sind ca 1 Minute entfernt.

Wir haben den aufenthalt sehr genossen. Lezzeno ist etwas abgelegen daher angenehm ruhig. Der See unmittelbar (2 gehminuten) vor der Wohnungstür.

Es war ein toller Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich hat alles, was nötig ist. Dank dicke Wände ist nicht heiß drin. Der Strand ist 150 Meter entfernt. Klein Lebensmittelladen ist 50 Meter entfernt. Die Vermieterin ist nett , hilfsbereit und taktvoll. Wir sind sehr zufrieden geblieben.

In Ferienstimmung arbeiten
DIe Wohnung ist sauber, zweckmässig eingerichtet und vollständig. Für einen Aufenthalt für intensives Arbeiten und trotzdem etwas von der wundershcönen Umgebung am Comersee mitzubekommen ist die Wohnung ideal. Sie liegt nahe am See (wenig direkte Sicht darauf), der Quartierladen mit hervorragender Pesto liegt wenige Meter daneben. Ebenso eine Quartierbeiz mit herrlichen Sandwiches. Die Gastgeberin nimmt sich alle Zeit, um den Aufenthalt gut werden zu lassen. Das LAN ist von sehr guter Qualität und ist stabil. Hat ausgezeichnet gepasst. Lezzeno als Ort ist ideal für diese Art von Aufenthalt - ohne grosse Ablenkung.
