The staff were great but not enough. 3 coaches turned up and there was a long queue as there was only one bar staff. The price was good and the food was ok although typical of a coach hotel. One clean towel had been used by someone with muddy hands but the bed was clean and comfortable. Whilst communal areas were good, my bedroom was very shabby and not well cleaned. No biscuits in the room which was a bit sad.

It is a great view! Easy to park just over the road. Plenty of breakfast items and fruit provided. It was a bit cold when we arrived but once the heating was on we warmed up. Bed comfy, big telly.

We had a wonderful stay at Whispering Pine Lodge and absolutely loved our time there. The property is simply beautiful, with an incredible setting and a great deal of thought and care evident throughout. Our room was very nice, comfortable and cosy, although it was a little on the smaller side for a family travelling with luggage. I am not sure there is much that can be done about this given the character of the property. The staff were equally impressive — warm, attentive and genuinely lovely. From a seamless check-in to arranging restaurant bookings, everything was handled effortlessly. Even our additional requests, including a fan for the room and a change of bedding, were taken care of promptly and with a smile. It is rare to find a place where the setting, property and service come together so well. An amazing place, beautifully maintained and run by an equally amazing team. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
