We were disappointed that the pictures advertising the Walton Hall Hotel & Spa were quite deceptive. The actual hotel is not at all connected to the historic Walton Hall, and the hotel wing and room that we experienced were very worn and in need of a renovation. The pool and fitness room were listed on Expedia as amenities, but these facilities are not owned by the hotel and require payment for use (after registering our complaint, we were given free passes). On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the wifi worked.

Amazing vibe, beautiful, clean, super good food!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at the Crowne Plaza Birmingham City Centre. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. A special mention goes to Ash at reception, who was incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. He kindly arranged an early check-in and even offered me a late check-out free of charge, which made a huge difference to my trip. The hotel itself was spotless, with a very clean and comfortable environment. The breakfast was excellent—varied, delicious, and very family-friendly. The location is perfect, especially if you’re visiting for events. I stayed during the Birmingham Half Marathon, and the hotel was ideally situated—just about a minute from Centenary Square and around a five-minute walk to New Street Station, making everything easily accessible. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future!

The hotel is well located for all attractions and offers a comfortable stay. Breakfast being included was great as was the selection on offer.
