“This lodge is a very good local experience. Although the lodge needs more attention to get it to excellence, they are VERY friendly and accommodating. “I was very happy about the friendliness of the staff, especially the front manager Silvia who went above and beyond to accommodate me with my very late arrival. She wanted to help me with my lost luggage as well but luckily I didn’t have to bother her. The room was clean and spacious. Overall a great stay and welcome to Zambia. Highly recommend ”

“There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive. The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). “The staff were excellent, the one who stood out was lady at reception Edna. Keep it up. Rooms were ok, a suggestion to add a non slippery mat just outside shower and toilet. Night Receptionist requires customer care training”
