“Historic Rail Road Hotel in a quaint Czech Kansas town. The historic aspects of the hotel are its strengths and weaknesses. The hotel retains its original foot print, meaning the rooms are small. However they have been updated with good beds and bathrooms. Unfortunately, some of the hallways and stairwells are quite worn. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Great place for adventurous travelers. Sample Room Bar and dining room are beautiful and have a great atmosphere.”

“Needs to be completely updated, carpets are stained and dirty. Beds show to be old with depressions from over use. Rooms where dark, lighting was old. They did come in and clean every other day, change out towels. Old school locks with regular metal keys. Asked about an ice maker I was pointed to the fridge there personal one. It didnt produce much ice. Great water pressure warter stayed hot. Unfortunately I will not be going back.”
