I was totally pleased with my stay there. You can tell it's an older motel, because the room was huge. King sized bed, large desk/counter, good sized fridge. Everything was in good working order. I appreciated touches like having the thermostat on the wall instead of controlling it from the unit. Plenty of towels, and places to hang them; plenty of usable electrical outlets; soft-close toilet seat.
The continental breakfast was a little strange. You are only allowed one item from three sections of a menu, but it's delivered to your room at a time of your choosing.
I didn't have a chance to use the ice machine or the Wi-Fi, so I can't comment on them. There was a large selection of channels on the TV. The room did smell a little stale, but that's the problem with having recirculated air conditioning - no fresh air coming in.
I don't know what they charge there during football season, but I consider it a very good value for what I paid during summer.
