We stopped to see the famous ceremonial pulpit of Punxsutawney Phil, the mythical groundhog in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. We have all seen Bill Murray in Groundhog Day but the ceremony of Phil's prognostication does not actually take place in town like the movie suggests but two miles east of town at the unusually named Gobblers Knob. #roadtrip #minitakesthestates

You will not be able to avoid these when visiting the area so... enjoy. There are 32 big ole' fiberglass groundhogs on the streets throughout the community. This one is "Phillage" Artist - Kelly Porada. He is standing in front of his burrow, which is located in Barclay Square, attached to the library.
