“I’ve stayed here several time, the first time there was no reception desk. The new owners have added a desk and the family owners attend to the guest and their needs. Don’t let the empty parking lot scare you! They have great shower heads and water pressure. Minimalist property but very clean. Bonus…easy access laundry if you need to refresh your travel wear.”

“Good service, good employees. Breakfast wasn’t set up efficiently! There was pancake syrup all over the counter when I was making my waffle and the orange juice was spoiled.”

“The bed was great, but the bathroom was unsafe. There was nothing to hold unto in the glass footed shower except the water handle. The lighting at the bedside was difficult to turn on. Coke and water bottles were way too expensive. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of foods. The daytime staff were much more attentive than the night crew.”

“Couldn't check in due to the incompetence of the staff not knowing how to log in to check in guest. Didn't get to stay and had to go to another hotel for the night.”

“We absolutely loved this home! It was so peaceful...between the fireflies, hammock views and the hot tub we did not want to leave! Thank you for the perfect place to reconnect. Also the game board was a big hit...lots of laughs shared over it. We will be back next time we are in Illinois!”
