A journey of reverence and a gratefulness for my being among it all. Our days were waking for first light on snow-capped mountains, crossing bridges, prayer flags whipping, over rushing glacial waters, passing trains of yak through dense evergreen forest, and reflecting over ginger tea. I remember in this moment I had fallen behind my companions.
