“Tent was perfect and rose was a great host!”

“Taino wood was a great place for camping. Chantel and her husband Jesse are great host and are very welcoming and kind. Nice place to enjoy with your family in the nature. There were many tent sites inside their woods and we occupied the site called:Turey. We set up 3 tents (two 4-people tents and one 6-people tent). There was a firepit we used to cook food and Chantel and Jesse lend us a pot to cook. Before leaving Chantel, Jesse and a few of their friends sang indigenous songs and played……

“We loved out stay! Would absolutely stay again. There is a little (under 5 min) walk to the tiny house itself on some rough terrain but it’s worth it for the seclusion. The place itself was so charming and cute. So fun seeing the animals and trails are walking distance away. The nearest towns are 30+ minutes away and there are no big box stores, just small shops and restaurants, so pack accordingly. “A Stay!My husband and I had the best time! The owners are awesome and their property is a gem. I was wowed by their attention to detail—little touches that make for a great stay. The “chicken coop” is cozy and has lots of amenities. On top of that, the owners are excellent communicators and live on the property. They were always making sure we had everything we needed and are warm, friendly people. We really enjoyed their sense of humor and the funny stories they shared with us.They have several……

“We had a great time. The tent and toilet were clean. We appreciated the water provided and the cookware. The only thing to note is that there is a bit of walking on a rocky trail before reaching the campsite (not next to the parking spot). The river was fun to explore but can be difficult for younger kids to get to. The campsite is close to Minnewaska State Park, very convenient. ”
