Nestled away on a nearly 2-acre wooded lot in an area of other privation vacation rentals, Meant to Bee is located just 4 miles from Old Man's Cave, 5 miles from downtown Logan, and 2 miles from Conkle’s Hollow hiking trail.

Gorgeous cabin with nature surrounding!
I very much enjoyed the look of the cabin and the area surrounding! Inside was very clean and just like the pictures. Fireplace was nice once we figured out how to properly use it. We had some issues opening the chimney flue. I’d recommend some instructions for future guests! The only negative about our experience was that the hot tub would not heat up for us. It stayed only luke warm even with the temp turned all the way up and the cover on, it wouldn’t change! Thought it would be better the next day but it was the same. This was disappointing because it was one of the main things I look forward to in order to relax! Overall was enjoyable and I would choose the cabin again if the hot tub would get fixed!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was as described other then the electric fireplace was out of order, which was disappointing for a romantic Valentines weekend for sure. But the hot tub was wonderful and we had a wonderful fire outside. Its a very comfortable cabin.

Great little cabin
Very nice. The aerial photos led me to believe there were no neighbors, however there are other cabins in the area. All are far enough away to not be an issue. I highly value privacy and had no issues here. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Great towels :). I will say that I'm used to cabins have a good selection of games/movies. There were only 2 games (monopoly and yahtzee) but we had brought our own. We also cast from our phone to the TV so no issue there. I did see the TV had local channels but we didn't use it much so didn't explore further. Kitchen was well appointed.

Nice cabin in Logan. Very convenient location and very spacious cabin. Place was very clean. If I had to make a complaint my only one would be to upgrade the shower head to a handheld. Other than that the place is amazing

This beautiful property is perfectly situated to enjoy all that Hocking Hills State Park has to offer, while providing the seclusion and serenity to let us relax and unwind. We fell in love with the property 3 1/2 y/o and found it to be just as idyllic today. It was “Meant to bee” for us!

We've stayed here twice now and will likely be back again. This is a beautiful, well appointed property in a great setting. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful to our needs. Love the fire pit, the hot tub, the wrap around porch.

I have been coming to Hocking annually for about 20 years. This is the best cabin so far! It was so clean, private, and had everything you needed! This will be my go to for now on! I loved it so much and hated to leave ❤️

Great birthday and Memorial Day weekend
Place was fantastic for our family of four. Not difficult to find and close to all the activities we wanted for my sons birthday. Great outdoor space and fire pit. We will be booking again in the future.

Amazingly Peaceful
While I wish it could have been a little more secluded to prevent hearing neighbors playing music it was a wonderful getaway. Being so close to everything Hocking Hills and the Trails have to offer was amazing as we were able to hike bright and early. Lovely place and we hope to stay again one day.

My wife and I had been separated for 7 mos after being married 40 yrs. We were working on getting back together and booked this Cabin to see if we should and we are. Hocking Hills was amazing and this cabin was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Secluded enough to feel out in the woods but a short drive to everything. Beautiful Cabin
The cabin was impeccably clean. It was even nicer in person than the pictures depicted it. We had everything we needed and more. It was relaxing and everything we were looking for. The owners were responsive and I was very well informed. The cabin is not far from area restaurants and attractions. We will definitely be using Scarlet Oak Retreats in the future!

My only complaint is that the hot tub was still cold when we got there..we only stayed 2 nights which kind of put a damper on our first night not being able to enjoy that after driving for hours and wanting to relax ..a hot tub is our favorite amenity at a cabin stay. And it was 10 at night before it reached its temp. Jets are not very strong and getting the cover off and on was very inconvenient . There is no room to get on both sides to pull it back on and impossible to get behind it unless you are a smaller person. the lift does not work properly. It's located on the front deck steps from the door but it would b great if it were placed on the back deck. Over looking the fire pit and woods. With much more room and seclusion ..the fire pit is at the bottom of a long set of steps oyt back but very nice. But we never used it because we were out front in the hot tub and wouldnt have been able to enjoy watching it burn while relaxing . the party coming in after us had a greeting card on the table so it's clear no one took the time to welcome us and probably just stopped in at the last minute to turn on hot tub..the price was right but not when u can't use the amenities the entire first day. Location is awesome fireplace was gorgeous and cabin is stocked with nice linens, comfy beds and everything you need to cook and never leave during your stay if that what you choose ..just a few changes on the outside layout of things would make this place a perfect 10.
