Amazing property. High spec and beautiful artwork. A real home from home. Winchelsea is a beautiful village and a great base for walking and exploring the area.

The apartment was great - getting in the property was tricky at first as code didn't work and property manager didn't respond but beyond that was good. the hallway and elevator was very dirty on arrival. the apartment was good though. nice size/quality

One minute walk from Paddington rail station and Underground.Hotel was neat with lots of polished marble. a nice touch was complementary tea /coffee with Danishes and ceousance The upper floors had street views for a busy restaurant and business area it was surprisingly quiet at night.This hotel had above ground rooms and underground rooms which probably don't have windows.There were three in our family room which was comfortable but compact with similar compact shower & bathroom The air conditioning was excellent in the July heatwave,to return from 30deg outside to a cool room was great.Breakfast was in an under ground floor area quite low ceiling, again compact breakfast room , I would say while breakfast was good enough quality but minimal quantities ,seemed to slow refilling after 9.00am.A lovely park next door with it's own Paddington bear nice tree shaded area. Walking a short distance to Kensington Park or further Hyde park so lots of beautiful open spaces nearby. Grand would not be a word I use as most hotels in the area are quite small. For our stay this hotel all in all was a fair price and supplied everything we needed ,we loved the area to which we would return in another visit,The staff were helpful and allowed us to leave luggage on our last day before a late flight.but if others would want luxery and large rooms with similar large reception areas then pay more in another hotel.

We booked a Deluxe Queen Room, we didn’t seem to get that, due to late check in, it would appear that we got allocated some form of accessible room which wasn’t what we booked, this meant that our bathroom was a wet room and really not what we wanted at all, the entire floor of the bathroom got soaked each time the shower was used, the Air con in the room didn’t seem to work properly. Possibly should have addressed this with the hotel directly but we only used it for sleeping but upon reflection it wasn’t a great experience, only silver lining was that the hotel was heavily discounted on Expedia compared to usual price, I’d of been very unhappy had we paid full price for the room.
