Narrow roads down country lanes so slightly isolated lovely cosy room and breakfast was excellent especially the poached eggs. Stayed there as going to a wedding in the area

We were greeted with a handshake which is always a good start. Our hosts, Neil and Rosemarie were welcoming and eager to make sure our stay was a good one. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and shower. We were pleased with the coffee machine and the fridge on the landing for the cold milk. The small touches are what makes this hotel a special one. The bar downstairs proved popular to watch the world cup and we appreciated the hospitality during the evening. Breakfast was cooked to order and taken on the deck. The swimming pool was excellent. Car parking is easy and plentiful. One small point is that we would have appreciated a fan in our room which was very hot. Given the extremely high temperatures we are all experiencing it might be something to consider for the future. Otherwise everything was absolutely fine and of a very high standard.

"The rooms were super spacious. We booked for family of four. We were allocated two rooms which we felt wasn’t necessary. Kids loved the pool and the view is great. It was walking distance to local cafes and shops. There was also a funfair across the road which was great for kids. Overall great stay ..."
