“First, I thought I booked a king-size bed, but we ended up with a queen-size in a very small room. Your site said there was an elevator but we got there to discover it wasn’t functioning. I managed the stairs, but I do have mobility problems and was frustrated there was no elevator. We didn’t mind the policy of no shoes, but the mat in front of the door was wet from rain, and we ended up with wet socks. “It’s a nice 1840 home. Rooms decorated with antiques and very homey. It’s old so some wear and tear is evident but it’s a beautiful home. Cookies greet you at check in and there is breakfast every morning. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available 24/7. Everyone is very courteous. “Room was basically clean but vent was very fuzzy above bed. I have respiratory allergies. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. “We loved our stay at Riverboat Bed and Breakfast!!! We were met by Mary Beth who was absolutely wonderful. The historical home was gorgeous and so accommodating.
