Relax and enjoy the large front yard and mature citrus trees from behind the privacy of a fence with remote controlled gated entry. Open the french doors off the living room and sip your morning coffee on the patio amidst the vibrant purple bougainvillea. The grapefruits are easily the most fragrant and juicy I've ever had. If oranges are in season, pick some right off the tree and make some fresh squeezed juice

LA always has great weather but tends to cool down at nights in the 60s so enjoy that outdoor Cali lifestyle! Grab some logs from the woodpile and enjoy a nice fire in the chiminea while having a glass of wine or whiskey

The living room features a large sectional couch that easily seats 5 and there's a super comfy chaise lounge big enough for two. There is currently a 70" Sony HD SmartTV! Cable is through HULU streaming app along with Netflix and AppleTV hooked up- just sign in to your accounts to stream. There is also a Sony DVD/BluRay player and surround sound system for recreating that theatre-like experience. Many DVDs to choose from direct from the studios- if coming during Awards season many are still in the theatres. Bluetooth speaker streams any music platform you prefer (Spotify, Pandora, etc) directly from your smartphone or tablet. High speed wifi and a wireless printer available for you to print out boarding passes or amusement park tickets.

There is a gas bbq directly off the kitchen for grilling out and enjoying meals on the patio.
Please clean the grill after you use it.
There is a new 11ft cantilever umbrella to protect you from the sun yet still enjoy the outdoors.
Patio table comfortably seats 6. The seat cushions are brand new. Please put them away when not in use to keep clean and prevent fading

Long secured driveway can safely park your cars for free. You'll he just steps from the door. Always safe and convenient and no parking tickets that can put a damper on a vacation :)

Master bedroom is very spacious and over 16 feet wide. Stretch out and enjoy. Queen bed, MyPillow, nightstand, dresser and full closet system with places for shoes, valuables, etc. Plenty of room for your stuff for an extended stay

Second bedroom has a full sized bed and MyPillow and walk in closet. Both beds have memory foam toppers on them for a comfortable nights sleep

Guest access

Entire house is yours except for a side (3rd) room I have locked with my personal belongings and behind the blue curtain off the laundry room. I've just stashed some household items here and do not interfere at all with laundry use.

Interaction with guests

I will be staying in a detached guest house in the rear of the property. The house and guest house are completely separate structures so I can be as far or as close as you prefer.

The neighborhood

NoHo is an up and coming neighborhood that is just minutes from Universal Theme Park, Burbank Airport and Burbank's studios (Disney, Warner Brothers and Nickelodean) and its Arts District features many dance studios (such as the world famous Millennium), the Art Institute, the Motion Picture Academy, restaurants with different cuisines, theatres, cafes, juice bars, coffeeshops and bars.

Getting around

I am 5 minutes from Burbank Airport ($7 Uber ride); 2 blocks from National Rental Car; freeway access to the (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and 405 are all no problem.

The Metro NoHo is a 1 mile walk or you can drive and park in the lot. Just 1 stop later on the Red line and you're at Universal, 2 stops and you're in Hollywood

Other things to note

The backyard is currently being developed and is not part of the rental. Of course no work will be done to interrupt guest's privacy

As a family of four with two teenage boys, we had a fabulous 5 night stay in Rich’s beautiful home. We loved the space, the cleanliness, the location, comfy beds and sofas, it really felt like home. Being able to bring the car in and shut the gates felt very safe and secure and was a huge bonus. home away from home

This was such a a fantastic find for our family! The home was beautiful with so many personal touches that you could tell it was owned by someone who took pride in their property. gorgeous backyard, lovely patio, and inside was perfect , plenty of extras needed for people being out of town! And finally!!! A home that had enough pillows and towels for everyone! Rich was great with all the details and his instructions were both helpful, informative and hilarious. I love that I felt like I knew him by the time we left. could not say enough about this home and it's owner. Thank you rich,!!!

Perfect Stay in LA!

Rich's Property was very clean upon arrival. The bathroom's and kitchen are all updated and new. Having the 2nd bathroom was the clincher for us which gave my mom her own bathroom. This location is close to all the major attractions and beaches. Overall just a very nice place to stay! I highly recommend this property!

Excellent overall….

It’s my first time staying at VRBO with friends. The place was very clean and tidy. It was pretty much close to everything- universal studio, walk of fame, Chinese theater , grocery store and restaurants. On our last night, we had a great time singing and dancing till 3 am. Most of all, Rich was such a wonderful host.

Your perfect abode for Hollywood getaway

Rich’s house was a pleasant surprise in the north Hollywood. Rich has been my top BnB hosts I have stayed so far. He was kind, accommodating and resourceful. The house itself is well equipped with 2 big bedrooms. A family friendly bnb 15 mins away from Hollywood with parking covered. It has all the necessary amenities. Rich also has a open bar full of drinks. I would highly recommend Rich’s abode for a Hollywood getaway!

Lovely sanctuary

This is a lovely home! Rich, the owner, was a wonderful host, making sure everything was ready for us. Our flight arrived very late and he made sure we had coffee and rolls so we could have breakfast. He made us feel like we were family. We loved having the gated yard, made it feel very private. Booked the house for a family visit and to see our first grandchild. Had the in-laws over for a barbecue - the grill works great - and had plenty of room to visit. Breakfast every morning on the patio. Rich has put very nice touches in the home, great collection of books, and the 75 in. screen TV was like being in the movie theatre. Location is great - close to all major attractions, and the Burbank airport. Bedrooms spacious and beds very comfortable. Plenty of room to park so you don't have to park on the street. We would definitely stay here again - Rich feels like he is part of our family already! Thanks for everything, Rich!

Stylish and convenient!

A great house, and Rich was very friendly, super responsive, and easy to communicate with even though he wasn't staying on property at the time. Check-in was simple, and the house and car are secure behind a locked gate, giving you a peaceful oasis. We loved the "cool LA bachelor pad" vibe of the house and outdoor area--my 16yo son has a new life goal :-)! Felt like we had our own screening room as we relaxed on the comfy couch in front of the GIGANTIC television. Everything was very clean and just as pictured in the photos. Beds were blessedly comfortable. Be aware that the house is on a nice quiet residential street, but the immediate neighborhood (Vineland Ave in particular) is not the most picturesque. However, there are many good restaurants and shops in the area, just a short drive away. We loved Pitfire Artisan Pizza for a fast and friendly meal. I also didn't quite realize that North Hollywood is not technically in Hollywood, ha ha. Still, just 15 minutes or so to drive to the classic Hollywood tourist attractions. We were happy to be super close to Universal for a fun day out and a short drive home after a busy day. We would gladly stay here again. Thanks, Rich!

Easter weekend

It was legit a great experience, there are a few places to eat so if you are a foodie. We visited both Six flags and Universal studies, it wasn't a bad drive. Rich is super chill and really makes you feel welcome and the property was cute and private. I would give it a 10/10.

Beautiful house in great location.

Stayed 4 nights to visit family and sight see around Hollywood, LA and the beach. House was perfect for our needs. It is well maintained with beautiful landscaping and a laid back vibe. Would come back next time we visit family in North Hollywood/Burbank. It's an extremely convenient location to the Burbank Airport.

Location Good, but some issues…

The house itself was nice and clean and spacious and good for what we needed being fairly close to the places we wanted to go. The host was very friendly and nice, but we didn’t realize that he was (maybe) also staying on the property. Or at the least having work done. It took away from the independence of the location. At times, we could hear the sawing and banging of hammers Also some chatter. The beds were okay, the pillow tops made them slightly uncomfortable. With the work going on around us, we didn’t want to take advantage of the lawn furniture or the backyard table. Overall our stay was okay, we just wished it was more private. I don’t believe any of the stuff happening behind us being mentioned in the listing.

From the first contact with the host to the last we were impressed with the responsiveness and care that was put into our stay. We were traveling with a disabled individual and the host went out of his way to accommodate the needs of our individual. There were no surprises and every area we wanted to visit was within a short driving distance which is important to know if you have every driven in LA traffic. Thanks Richard for a great stay. We will be sure to tell our friends if they are ever out your way.
