Elizabeth and staff were so accommodating and kind. The service was amazing. The room was clean and it was a nice location. You'll need a car but it's a 5-10 min drive to everything you want to see and it's very peaceful in the morning. It's small and there is no door to the bathroom so keep that in mind if there is more than 1 of you. The bed was not very comfortable but nothing a nice morning stretch on the rooftop didn't fix. I'd recommend Ronny's for solo travelers or couples. Sunsets were beautiful and the restaurant was tasty.

Finca Sunset Monteverde was absolutely outstanding — easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The house is clean, new, and beautifully designed, with attention to detail everywhere. The views are truly out of this world and something you’ll never get tired of, whether it’s morning coffee or sunset.
The host went above and beyond by leaving a welcome basket with beer, wine, eggs, local fruits and bread, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated touch. Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations. We absolutely loved it and would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone visiting Monteverde.

We had an amazing time staying at Umami. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, the staff was amazing and the location was close to the beach. Also the drinks from the bar, 10/10. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Puerto Viejo!
