“We got a nice view from the window. I liked the fact that the bathroom was splitted. Bath and toilet in a room and sink separate. However, I didn't like at all that the the light was inly one for both. Getting up in the middle of the night I needed the light on and I woke up my child because the light also illuminated the whole room ”

“We loved our stay. It is such an elegant home with a nice connection to Canadian history. It was expertly updated and is extremely comfortable. Elizabeth and Glenn were consummate hosts, with a warm welcome and delicious breakfast. Parking is easy, location excellent. We traveled to Pictou for a concert at the DeCoste Centre (also amazing and within walking distance) and Seabank House was obviously the right choice because the performer also stayed there. And be sure to visit Grohmann Knives...

“Avoid booking a room facing the highway. The traffic noise was very loud from early morning until we checked out. If we stay here again in the future we will definitely book a room facing the parking lot or not book at all.”

“I read the other reviews before booking and I thought that I would be able to handle it. I've traveled all over and stayed in some really disgusting hostels so I thought the room wouldn't be so bad in comparison. I don't mind the stains on the chairs or the holes in the comforters, as long as the sheets are clean (which they were), but the smell of the room was terrible. Someone had obviously smoked a lot in there. The shower curtain had mold all over it; those are not expensive to replace...

“My stay at this location was the worst I have ever experienced. While the manager was exception she was only one person which is also an issue for what we experienced. My room was $268 and the excessive noise after hours, kicking on my door throwing buckets of ice by teenage boys well past 11pm that were not supervised by their parents was completely unacceptable .There was also an 84 year old man staying on the same floor with his terminally ill wife and we both came out of rooms to see...

“The Room was small. Ideal for one person. Lots of storage, but little room to get around the bed. The person on the right side of the bed has to deal with the A/C blowing on them all night as it is about 12 inches away from the edge of the bed. The bathroom is small with a small shower. For parking I had to park on a street behind the hotel, about a 5 min walk from the hotel.”
