“Fun hotel. Great service and excellent breakfast!”

“This is a good place to stay, with a nice cafe/restaurant attached. Breakfast was great! The staff at check-in the evening we arrived was very outgoing and very helpful, the staff at the desk the next day a bit more aloof. None of the cleaners would even look at me when I passed them - I like to say hi to everyone. The lobby and room were very clean. The hallway behind the lobby area to the back door was not. It brought the overall impression down. The room was very spacious which was greatly……

“The Room was small. Ideal for one person. Lots of storage, but little room to get around the bed. The person on the right side of the bed has to deal with the A/C blowing on them all night as it is about 12 inches away from the edge of the bed. The bathroom is small with a small shower. For parking I had to park on a street behind the hotel, about a 5 min walk from the hotel.”

“The mattress was terrible in the room. I was late getting back to the room and didn’t notice how bad the mattress was til late at night. It was terrible!! That mattress has been like that for a long time and I’ll assume that I’ve not been the only one who’s complained about it. I was only their for the one night and sucked it up. I was going to mention to the front desk but I’m guessing they already know and are just ignoring the issue!”

“We loved our stay. It is such an elegant home with a nice connection to Canadian history. It was expertly updated and is extremely comfortable. Elizabeth and Glenn were consummate hosts, with a warm welcome and delicious breakfast. Parking is easy, location excellent. We traveled to Pictou for a concert at the DeCoste Centre (also amazing and within walking distance) and Seabank House was obviously the right choice because the performer also stayed there. And be sure to visit Grohmann Knives……
