Close to Ludlow (3.5 miles), a thriving market town and an architectural gem, busy throughout the year with events and festivals celebrating good food, arts and crafts, theatre, walking and the showcase for this being the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival at the Castle. Walkers and cyclist alike can enjoy the River Teme and the surrounding Shropshire Hills with the Mary Webb trail, The Shropshire Way and Offa’s Dyke. Close by and worth a visit are Stokesay Castle (8 Miles) and both National Trusts' Berrington Hall or Croft Castle (4 Miles). Further afield other attractions worth exploring are the Ironbridge Gorge Museums (24 Miles) and the famous Severn Valley Railway at Bridgnorth (20 Miles).
This beautiful stone cottage is full of charm with exposed beams, wood burner and interesting artwork throughout. Stepping inside, there’s lots space for you to drop off your boots and coats in the entrance hall, where you will also find the handy utility room with washing machine and WC. Natural light floods the stylish kitchen with the French doors opening on to the patio and garden area. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher, making this a great space to prepare a family meal. Gather round the spacious dining table with seating for four to enjoy a meal or lazy breakfast together. From here retire to the cosy lounge with comfortable sofas and superb wood burner for those cooler evenings, making this the perfect spot to relax after a days exploring and watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV. Heading upstairs to the first floor, you will find the two bedrooms, a double, please note that the door frame into this room is low, and a twin with a low beam. Completing the accommodation is the bright and airy bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Outside there is an enclosed patio and lawn area with table, chairs and charcoal BBQ, perfect for a spot of al fresco dining. If you are keen on cycling and bringing your bikes there is a bicycle storage (please note that this is not a lockable shed). There is private parking for two cars next to the property.
