“What a lovely quiet area with lots of walks but close to towns and villages with things to do and see. The grounds were well looked after and usable by our dog as was a good part of the restaurant. The 2 crowning glories though were: the food which was of a high standard being well cooked and presented and the staff who were really welcoming and friendly throughout, knowlegeable about the food on offer and well paced with the ordering and delivery of the food. ”

“This is a fantastic inn with rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean and very comfortable. Bathroom with lovely easy to use walk in shower, plenty of hot water at anytime. What a treat to have a freshly cooked breakfast all 4 mornings. I stayed over the Easter weekend visiting friends in the village - although the pub was very busy with diners, the staff always had time to say hello and ask if everything was ok with my stay - excellent bar and a very good Melbec by the glass! Thank you Corners...

“1st time my brother & I have stayed here. We were well impressed. Our room was lovely & warm. Beds comfy. Plenty of tea , coffee etc. large LCD TV in the room. Bathroom was a bit small but acceptable. Given the price of £63 we were more than happy & would book to stay here again.”
