Words cannot describe the smells we encountered. Arrived and checked in to a 'Deluxe' room and couldn't breathe with the thick smoke smell. Then saw the first dead cockroach and returned to reception to ask to upgrade. Paid 75 GBP to upgrade to a business suite and it wasn't much better. The thick smell of smoke on every furnishing cover was horrendous, and such a strong smell of vinegar when we turned the air conditioning on. Walls are filthy, with what appeared to be blood, cleaner didn't change cups or glasses but was in the room daily. Surprised not to have a fridge too. The suite was a really good size, and if it had been clean and didn't smell so badly, we would have been impressed. 40 minute taxi into central Shenzen.

Wonderful! The room was incredible, the people were kind and friendly, we could walk to shopping, massage, and it was safe. The staff goes all out to help -- even take the luggage from the taxi and bring it all the way to the room. This was not a bellman, but the manager of the hotel herself! She was awesome! The bed was super soft and we wanted to sleep all day, the food at the restaurant was excellent, and the gym was clean and well organized. We will stay here when we go again for sure.

"I was expecting that according to the review, the place is rundown and dated. But, it was not. It is a bit but totally worth for its price, tbh! It is clean, they put us in room where there was a nice view and we stayed during APEC season so I believe the hotel is busy, but our stay was perfect! ..."
