“We have stayed here before and the hotel is now tired. Weeds growing on pathways / at pool. Flower beds not maintained. The sun loungers are past it and consequently uncomfortable. There were 2 only umbrellas for 3 pool areas and limited options for shade. There was work going on but too late for this stage of the season, particularly having 1 pool completely closed off. Room was fine but a couple of pictures and a soft chair would help. The loo seat needs replaced….. very bad. Breakfast - in……

“After checking in and receiving directions to this apartment, the staff member admitted they had never been to this rental before and couldn’t give us better or more specific instructions. It took us a while to find and once we did, we couldn’t park at the building because the lot required a parking code we didn’t receive. No problem we were only passing through for one night so we parked at the lot behind it and carried our suitcases because rolling them wasn’t possible due to the streets……

“What a gem this place ended up being. Owner and his son were super welcoming and even had their dog laying around. Room was very large, and the scenic view from our room was incredible. The beach attached to the back of the property was a bit difficult to get down to, but that didn’t stop us from climbing down there to get the full experience. Walking around the property to the adjoining beaches was also super enjoyable. No complaints whatsoever, would stay here 10/10 times we come back to……
