“Room clean just very outdated, was given 4 keys to unlock doors, one for front entrance door, if arriving back to hotel and nobody's there, an old style skeleton key for room door, another key for patiodoor, and a key for safe, was interesting to say the least. Staff are very friendly speak English and make you feel welcomed, also will give you help on where to go and how to get there. Area a little far from anything within a normal walking distance. Having a vehicle is definitely recommended……

“The place was beautiful and the owners were beyond accommodating. We had so much fun relaxing at the pool and going to the beach in the morning. It’s a little outside of Lagos but definitely worth the stay”

I had to sleep on the couch in order not to feel pain from my back. As for the service, we had a good experience with the restaurant personnel as well as the purser. But the reception employee provided a sub par service. A final word, this resort has not the structure for individuals having a mobility impairment. ”

“Nice modern building where we spent 1 week in a very spacious new one bedroom apartment. Quality furnishings, nice layout with 2 balconies. Kitchen had a lot of what you’d need plus a washer/dryer combo. It was sparse on a few things however, e.g no fry pan, just 2 glasses, few dishes. No basics provided such as salt/pepper, sugar, oil or vinegar, coffee pods etc so be prepared to shop. Easy in and out underground parking garage. Nice pool with plenty of quality loungers. Didn’t eat at any of……

“This is a great place. The rooms were clean, the neighborhood quiet but walking distance to the walled city and the historical downtown. Having breakfast on the terrace looking at the sea was delightful. The staff was fantastic. Rosa and her colleague went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable. I recommend Sensations Guesthouse to anyone looking for a great stay in Lagos. ”

“Ample parking along the street. Includes a private washroom and an outdoor patio space to see the stars at night. Felt like a friend’s beach home. A very personable feel with access to shared kitchen and tv area which included cereals and snack foods open all day and most of the evening.”
