"Glenhorm Bay was a convenient stop for us before continuing along the Cabot Trail toward Ingonish. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. I had expected to be right on the ocean, but our room was actually up by the highway, a couple of minutes away. That was likely my mistake for not reading the listing more carefully. Unfortunately, dinner at the hotel was very disappointing, and none of us could eat our meals, despite being told they had a Red Seal chef. Overall, it was a decent stay in a great location for exploring the Cabot Trail,"

"This was an inexpensive but nice place to stay. It’s rustic but has its charm. Rooms were fine but I missed a fridge. Best part was the restaurant. The food was good, lots of variety and the price was reasonable. Good place to stay if you’re hiking the Skyline trail."

"Very clean. They had room to make the shower bigger, so that would have been nice, but not a deal breaker. Great view, beautiful property. Invested hosts. Sheer curtains or windows cling to allow light in whike maintaining privacy, would be nice. Ice machines. Though the host provided ice which was great . Would recommend"

"We loved our stay at this property!! There was a LOT of space for just two of us and the outdoorsy-themed decor is spot on. The kitchen was fully equipped with a full size fridge and even a dishwasher (though it was out of order while we were there). The bed was roomy and cozy. It was nice to find streaming services on the television on a night when the weather was bad and we chose to stay in and relax. And we cannot say enough about how wonderful the hot tub was after doing the Skyline Trail in the wind and pouring rain!! We certainly needed a good hot soak!! There were bathrobes for the hot tub as well as an abundance of towels in the bathroom. (Speaking of the bathroom, there is a real water pressure problem in the shower when the renters in the other unit are using THEIR shower at the same time, with the water slowing to a bare trickle.) The spot was mostly quiet for being right on the Csbot Trail. There are two restaurants close by but most everything else is farther away. This is a nice spot from which to explore, and we'd be happy to stay again if we are ever back in the area."

"Cute little house on the main road in Pleasant Bay (though not crazy traffic). Convenient to town and the one restaurant (The Rusty Anchor). Very clean and the owners were very nice."
