Love the beachfront and walking path close to a great park for kids!Staff super accommodating and friendly.If I could change anything not so much scented spray in the room less scent is always better and a good working fan!Besides that we will visit again it was great!

Wonderful location. Walking distance to restaurant, cafe, bakery, playground and of course the beach. Staff friendly and helpful. They are still renovating some part of the hotel but no noise at all.

Just spent the night there after a week of Kayaking and it was a perfect destination for a good night sleep and a great meal at Fred’s, staff was super friendly, beds were comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was awesome.

The location was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bed sheets could have been cleaner. A room with a beach view would have made the stay even more enjoyable. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, so a quieter unit would have improved the overall comfort.

The air conditioning unit was not very responsive to the room's temperature; however, since it wasn't too hot during my stay, it was manageable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, which I found to be a refreshing experience. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear conversations from other rooms, especially late in the evening. I also suggest replacing the bathroom amenities (body wash, shampoo, and conditioner) as they did not have a pleasant scent. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location in the heart of downtown, close to the beach. You can easily walk to nearby shops, restaurants, and coffee houses.

Clean, modern room and bathroom. Really nice new shower. Excellent central location, with the beach around the corner. It would have been great if the room had an electric kettle for tea but it just had a coffee maker with 2 coffee pods provided.

The property is in an excellent location, 100% love the location. Parking was free and included, so that was also very good. The room and bathroom was upgraded to today's standards so that was also 100% good. However, the property is pretty bare bones, no amenities, no frills, almost no art on walls in the room, no special touches, no bottled water, no hand lotion for dry hands, Very bare bones for a $300+ room. No views, no water views, no amenities, but excellent location and good parking. Would I stay there again? Maybe, but I would look around at other options first.

I booked the 3 -bedroom penthouse for a night for my family. It was fantastic: Great layout, really well-maintained, and very spacious. The outdoor deck was great. Just downstairs is the beach and a lovely walk to the park and the other way is downtown Sechelt and all the shops. Had a fantastic dinner at Fred’s, the restaurant adjacent to the hotel and overlooking the ocean. Just steps away is a wonderful bistro Vin et Mer. Staff at the Inn were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Recommend!

Was a little worried at the exterior pictures / reviews but we were pleasantly surprised to find a newly renovated room. Only negative was the twin beds…..very small for 4 average adults and queen beds would fit in the room. Smart tv was a bonus as we could use our own Netflix subscription.

The location is excellent, right off the beach and close to town. You do need a car to reach any of the parks to hike. The amenities in the Expedia listing included a fireplace and either patio or balcony in every room and free use of a nearby local fitness center. Our room had no patio or fireplace. It also had no safe. The front desk had never heard of the fitness center policy (this was the reason I had selected this particular property over others). We were placed in a room next to a barking dog and told there was nothing the desk could do about the noise. And to cap it all off, the front desk person was straight up rude. Would not recommend to anyone.

We liked that this property was right beside the ferry in Powell River. The view from our room was fantastic. The room was extremely quiet considering huge ferries came and went while we were sleeping. We always found parking in their lot. Sibo, the young woman who greeted us was just wonderful, warm and so welcoming. She answered all our questions and rushed to do anything she could for us. She's perfect for being a good hostess. Since we are elderly we asked for a room without stairs (there are a lot of stairs and no elevator in this hotel) and we were given one on the ground floor. It was very small which didn't bother us in the least because it was exceptionally clean and updated. Our biggest problem was that there was a king-sized bed in a queen-sized room. I only had about 8" of width to get down my side of the bed and I couldn't crawl up onto the bed on my knees. We managed, though, and were very comfortable. Apparently the hotel was recently updated and it's very modern inside.

The view was of the parking lot - not ocean. Location is nice for a walk. Bathroom extremely tiny. Little to no decoration. Strange television setup - few normal channels. The bed was Really quite comfortable but not worth the price. Should be a $150 - $200 room at most.
