The room was clean but had its issues. The fan never turned off, the button did not work, and we tried everything. The front staff told us to just unplug it. That was all the effort they put into helping with the situation. The remote control cover for the TV batteries did not stay on. The doorknob on the bathroom door was coming apart. The window blinds need to be replaced; they have holes. The parking is a disaster. They should have planned more parking than landscaping. I don't usually complain about a hotel, but they need to do some repairs and upkeep if they want to return travelers.

Quiet, beautiful hotel! Staff was excellent! Comfortable night. Lots of pillows, which I appreciated! Nice and dark in room. Temperature good. T.V. good. Shower fine. I think hotel needs safety grab bars in shower. We did not use the swimming pool. Breakfast was sub-par, like every other hotel.

The hotel has a pool that was very popular with children and teenagers. They were loud and ran around the hotel in wet swim suits. I'm glad that I saw one of the teens slip on the wet elevator floor so that I knew to be careful. A curious placement in our room of the toilet very close to the sink, making it hard to stand next to the counter. Breakfast was just OK. There was no fresh fruit and the coffee was very weak. A waffle maker was provided as well as hot bacon. This place was popular with families because of the pool. As a couple looking for quiet, I would look elsewhere. Clean room and attentive staff.

The property is in a particularly pretty area of Madras, Oregon and I will consider staying here again. The only downside was just how loud and intrusive the housekeeping staff were during the morning hours. That was a bit obnoxious. I will ask for a quieter spot during my next stay.

Our stay was great, Only problem was family above us let their little one run back and forth in the room,moving chair from8:00 till about 10:30. Not the Hotel's problem, parents problem. I had two grandchildren with me on the first floor 9 and 5 and I have to say mine were Angels. The toilet is low though for Seniors, and maybe a fan is needed in the bathroom. Price was better than expected. Thanks
