“The owner is very personable and helpful. We stayed in the separate lodging on the property, not in the house. We had a very spacious upstairs room. Note, the breakfast is not included for stays in the separate building. Highly recommended .”

“We didn’t get a good impression when we went to check in as no one was there. We stood there for 15-20 minutes but no one came. We rang the bell and phoned, but still no one answered. Finally, we called and left a message and the owner came from the back to check us in. The staircase to the upstairs (first impression for visitors) was filthy. We get it, people come in with their shoes on, but first impressions mean a lot. The breakfast was okay and we were happy he asked about dietary……
