This central strip, while not extensive, is where you'll find the available guesthouses and local eateries. It's the hub for services and is generally bustling during the day with local activity.

For solo travelers or couples looking for convenience and a straightforward experience, staying in this central area is ideal. You'll be within walking distance of where the ferry docks, making arrivals and departures simple.
When is the best time to go to Mahyoro?
The best time to visit Mahyoro is during the dry seasons, which run from December to February and June to August.

During these months, the weather is generally sunny with less rainfall, making it ideal for outdoor activities and exploring the region. This period allows visitors to comfortably enjoy boat trips and nature walks.

For couples looking for a relaxed and comfortable trip, the dry season offers pleasant weather for scenic drives and enjoying the natural beauty without the disruption of heavy rains. It's a great time for photography and experiencing the local culture in a calm setting.

Travelers interested in wildlife and outdoor adventures will find the dry season particularly rewarding.
