“The hotel is close to the busy Mainz train station and the neighborhood can be somewhat gritty. As a single woman traveling alone I felt somewhat uncomfortable that when I checked in on Sunday I needed to use the lockbox and enter into an empty reception area. We were also in another heatwave and the rooms are not air-conditioned. These are the only 2 negatives.
The room was lovely and recently updated. It was modern, clean and included a small but adequate kitchen. The bed was comfortable and……
