"This was an amazing find! The room was spacious with a separate dressing area and huge bathroom and spotlessly clean. The staff of this family-run hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The fix-priced menu for dinner was excellent and inexpensive and breakfast was brilliant with scrambled eggs made to order and a wide selection of savoury and sweet items. Great value for money and definitely to be recommended. "

"The service was excellent. The room was cozy and clean. All around delicious breakfast. If we are ever in that area we will definitely come back. Traveling with two kids- very kids-friendly. "

"ATTENZIONE! Per arrivare al rifugio bisogna salire sulla cabinovia, ma è aperta (e gratuita!) sino alle 23:00
Scoperta per puro caso: struttura nuova, vista della Presolana incredibile, personale giovane (in alcuni dettagli un po’ inesperto, si farà…) ma molto cordiale, uno dei gestori è gallese, molto simpatico, cucina ottima, vini pure, spa molto utile dopo giornata di gite
D’inverno probabile sia pure meglio, ma il fresco d’estate è impagabile…"

We enjoyed our stay on our way to visit the Val Camonica rock paintings. We discovered this hotel that sits next to some terms we didn’t know of! The hotel itself was bigger than expected, had a small but comfortable room with a balcony with Mountain View’s. Elevator, parking on-site were things we always look for and were there. Also a nicely appointed buffet breakfast with eggs also available! We were very happy with this choice. The staff was always helpful as well, which is a plus when you...

Wonderful hotel run by wonderful people. This is the second time that I stay here: Last Summer they rented me a bike for free and I went all around Lake Iseo; this year they offered me a discounted ticket for the famous spa, which is the town’s main attraction. It was a pleasure to talk with the owner of the hotel and share stories with him. And it is always amazing to admire and taste the huge variety of cakes being offered for breakfast. Thank you for the hospitality… and see you again next...

There is a wing of rooms directly over the front desk and the night I was there the computer system there was backing up or something and was making enough noise that it woke me up in the middle of the night. The front desk isn’t staffed at night, so I just had to try to go back to sleep. But I woke up with a headache, which is quite unusual for me. If I was given a room on the first floor above the front desk again, I would ask to be moved.

The meal plan was exceptional. The chef accommodated our vegan option request with fabulous adaptations of traditional Italian cuisine. The spa under the hotel, fed by the mineral waters, was comfortable and convenient. The staff was so kind and helpful. We’ll be back next year.

Chef and his daughters were remarkably pleasant. Paola is a saint. Chef’s wife really bailed us out with currency exchange.
The restaurant deserves a Michelin star.
It’s off the beaten path but if you want true Italian this is it.
It’s our second trip and expect we’ll return.

Run by welcoming Family. Helpful to a fault. Very good restaurant. Excellent service overall. A definite recommendation , based on several stays in Al Milano over the years.

Our group of 6 was simply looking for a place to stay the night before our early ride on the Bernina Express but Andrea and this lovely hotel made it a Thursday night to remember. The view from the high patio in the afternoon, the twinkling fairy lights that greeted us when we walked back from a wonderful dinner in town and the outstanding morning breakfast that was made early to accomodate our schedule all contributed to our desire to teturn for a longer stay. The view from the window was breath taking. It was 4 of us and we had enough space to move around the room. There was no TV in the room but this did not bother us as we were constantly away doing something. Breakfast was very simple but nice we did not had to care in the morning to find anything, just one suggestion, maybe cucumber and tomatoes would be a nice addition. The surrounding is incredible and very relaxing. Highly recommend.

Everything about this hotel and our experience was perfect! The staff were so helpful. The location was great for getting on the bernina the next morning! I would stay longer next time and further investigate the beautiful village!!

This was our favorite hotel during a two-week trip and possible ever. The Curt di Clement perfectly blends the building's history with contemporary nod to eco-friendly design, with special touches for bikers and hikers while also being accessible. What an amazing story and legacy to the family who owned it for many generations. The hotel is fully eco-friendly including a special parking garage for bike! The breakfast includes a juicer where guests can create their own smoothies from an array of...

Good hotel, the room is large and clean, there is a mini bar, and the bathroom is modern. A bit noisy in the morning because of other guests leaving. The parking lot is small, but there is another very large one just 50m far. These chalet is just next to the "main" hotel, which also have the spa. There is a reduction for guests of the chalet, and it's totally worthwhile. All the amenities are given at the entrance, so there's no need to bring anything. 5-star breakfast, with a very wide...

The best area to stay in Malegno is the central part of the village, particularly around the Piazza Generale Ronchi.
This area is the heart of Malegno and offers convenient access to local amenities and the village's main gathering points. You'll find the town hall, local shops, and traditional eateries within easy walking distance. The central location also provides a good base for exploring the surrounding Camonica Valley. Couples looking for a relaxing stay will appreciate the quiet atmosphere and the ability to stroll through the village at their leisure.
For those interested in exploring the natural beauty of the area, staying closer to the outskirts of the village, particularly towards the Val Camonica mountains, offers excellent access to hiking trails and scenic views. This area is good for solo travelers who enjoy outdoor activities and want to easily reach trailheads for day trips into the mountains.
When is the best time to go to Malegno?
The best times to visit Malegno are during the spring (April to June) and fall (September to October) when the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities and the region is less crowded.
Spring brings mild temperatures, blooming landscapes, and generally clear skies, making it ideal for hiking and exploring the natural beauty of the Val Camonica. This period is particularly good for couples or solo travelers interested in outdoor pursuits and cultural sites without the summer crowds.
During the fall, the weather remains comfortable, and the surrounding chestnut and oak forests display beautiful autumn colors.
