“Very nice stop in the northern woods. The check in wasn't smooth. We never received the access code so we had to call a number to receive the code. It was easy after we called but would have been nice to just receive it like the email stated. There was a cigarette butt in the planter by the door which was not attractive to nonsmokers arriving. There was also a leftover towel under the bed. Otherwise, the room was very clean, the room was remodeled nicely, and it was a quiet place to stop……

“The best thing about this hotel is the location, it's walkable to everything. The hotel itself is in poor condition. Our room smelled, the shower had black mildew or mold all around the bottom, it looked gross so we didn't even use it. Bedding had stains, window sill was caked with dirt. We were so turned off by the state of the hotel that we didn't go for the breakfast. We were out and about most the time and literally only slept there.”

“Book early for the summer, as they get sold out! Rightly so, as the rooms are clean, recently remodeled, and the water park is fantastic for the kids to run out their energy and adults to relax poolside or in the indoor-outdoor hot tub! The staff is so kind and helpful, they make it easy to relax. The continental breakfast is good - there's a waffle maker, so that's a step-up from most other hotels, and lots of other options, including boiled eggs and yogurt for protein options. Highly……
