This little gem sits right on the Siuslaw River, with amazing views out of every window. The Cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed, bath, kitchen and large living area with a river view. The Siuslaw River is known for Salmon and Steelhead fishing in the winter, and trout fishing year-round. A short drive into Florence makes it a great base camp for day trips up and down the coast, or exploring the nearby hills and streams. Whether fishing in the fall and winter, getting away from the bustle of life, a romantic getaway, exploring the nearby beaches, or just spending time with the family - this spot has something for everyone all year long. There are three houses on this property that can be rented out individually, or together for a larger group. Each house is free-standing and independent - each has it's own deck and dedicated parking area, only outdoor grassy areas and river frontage are shared. The property is long and narrow, with the houses up by the river. The two properties are a combined 1.25 acres, with all three house up close to the river - neighbors properties are similarly situated with fencing on both sides. The house is about 3.5 miles from downtown Mapleton, where there is a local restaurant, bar, store and coffee shop. Florence is 17 miles away, where you can find groceries, shopping, and beach adventure. The Siuslaw runs out into the Pacific, so you can put a kayak or canoe in the water from the cottage, or put a larger boat in at the boat ramp down the road.
There is no cell service at the house, but we have Starlink wifi and a landline.
It was a nice little property. With an amazing view of the river. Didnt have cell service witch was not a bad thing. Would stay here again

Lovely cottage stay
We loved this cottage. It was very private and listening to the river is so relaxing. Great location to go into Florence for dinner or up to the Sea Lion Caves or the Lighthouse or Dunes. Floating in the river was wonderful.
