The dock is large and modern as well. There is immediate access to the gulf for easy sunset cruises and access to the ocean side is a short trip through Vaca cut. My teen nephews loved fishing off the dock (live shrimp was the best bait to use). Four manatees came up to the dock one day. My young daughter loved the pool. The hosts were very responsive and proactive with their communication. Lots of good food options in the area and a pretty quick drive to Key West for a day trip. It was us and another couple and we each had littles with us. The home was perfect. We come to the keys every year and this has been the best home yet. Amazing location for fishing, great dock with a convenient cleaning station and the rooms are even better than advertised. We came as a party of 7 - two grandparents, three kids (10 - 14), my husband, and me. Sleeping arrangements were great. The three full baths were helpful. Pool and view were fantastic. Kitchen was well appointed and there were plenty of beach and bath towels. We rented kayaks and it was an easy paddle out to sea for great fishing - we caught yellowtail, garfish and even a small bonnet head shark. We were able do some snorkling (lots of starfish) from the kayaks as well. There is a running/biking trail at the end of the road for those that are interested. We used it daily and it was a pretty easy ride to the beach and aquarium. Easy check in and out process, and managers are accessible by text.
