“The house was cute and comfortable. I loved the old feel of it. The location was remote and serene, and we enjoyed the sound of the river across the street while chatting on the porch. We had no problem with making our meals, as the kitchen was sufficiently equipped. Our dog was very comfortable and surprised by a visit from some Guinea hens in the morning. “Summer camp cabin is right on the water, perfect for swimming. Be prepared for small mice, the cabin is old and not totally secure from critters. Don’t leave dry goods out, use the tin box on the table. Needed extra blankets from the trunk for cool nights but they were there. The bed was comfortable. Only a drip coffee pot, no Keurig. Great views and sounds of loons! Paths from parking and to the water are a bit steep so need to be careful. Totally worth it. ”

A lot of space separates you.Wood stove is great.Hot tub is on the back of cabin facing the woods.Steps are steep to get to the second floor, but easy to navigate. “The house was super convenient to Mount Sunapee and Newport is a really nice town. There were two families staying at the house with kids ranging from 11 years old to 1 year old. Everyone was very comfortable and we all had a lot of fun. I highly recommend staying there.”

“We stayed in this really nice cabin for 3 days and it was great. The cabin looks relatively new, so everything was pristine. The bedrooms were comfortable and a good size. The kitchen was stocked well and very functional. We really enjoyed the game room above the garage. The location was great. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. It's very close to the southern end of Lake and Mt. Sunapee, so lots of outdoor activities. This would be a place we would return to.”
