It's a basic hotel, nothing fancy. It was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. The AC was ice cold! One of the bathroom lights didn't work, not a big deal. The room did not have a mini-fridge and the guy at the counter wasn't willing to give us a different room. My husband has medications that must be refrigerated and using a communal fridge is not something I'm willing to chance. Called the travel agency and they attempted to contact the front desk and had 3 unanswered calls. So we had no choice but to stay and I emptied their ice maker to fill our cooler up for his medications. While getting ready for bed I went to grab a coffee cup to fill with water and found two half smoke weed blunts. I called the front desk at Quality Inn per the note on the Value Host front desk and the girl working came right over and moved us to the room right next door to ours and that room smelled very clean and had a mini-fridge in it. The morning staff seemed a little overworked. Continental breakfast was adequate but there is room for some improvement. It’s a nice little motel. Dated but clean. Crew was friendly. Very easily accessed off the main thoroughfare through Marquette.
