There was 11 of us and there was more than enough room. The kitchen downstairs is amazing with plenty of utensils and kitchen supplies for our big group. We had nacho night our second night there and the big space made it easy for us to set it up the way we wanted to! Beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean, and they provide full size bathroom supplies. I know I have butchered their names but I couldn’t ignore their outstanding performances. This hotel is a great hotel not just because of the architecture and history but the staff makes ALL the difference!!! The pool was beautiful and welcoming. The WiFi was fast and reliable. The building is old so there are plumbing issues but that’s not the fault of the hotel. Our room was surprisingly quiet for the French Quarter especially when you factor in the close proximity to Burbon street. This stay was inconvenient because of the location of the room which, if I am honest, I never was able to find on my own. The bathroom was very small and the shower doors were or a bizarre type that caused the room to be flooded before we could get to the shower head and readjust it to spray the wall only. The courtyard, while beautiful as always would have benefited by outdoor heaters as would the pool. All that said it is a beautiful property if you like historic and slightly spooky.
