Weekend getaways in Slidell

We had a cruise departing from New Orleans. We wanted to drive down the day before and spend the night so that the day of the cruise we would not be tired from driving all day. This was an excellent choice. The hotel was fairly new (the room even had that new smell). Very clean and comfortable. Seemed like a fairly safe area. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. About 45 minutes from the port. Would stay here again.

Breakfast could be way better. Also whoever’s idea to put translucent doors into the restroom is the dumbest idea ever.

The room was perfect for us, it was my husband and I and our adult son and his wife. We each had our own rooms. Wonderful kitchen facilities. They had a very nice fire pit outside that we enjoyed one evening while watching the TV outside. Very clean and comfortable.

Very clean property, especially in the rooms. Beds and pillows were appropriately firm.

Property well maintained - pristine. Fast and efficient check-in. Anticipating great breakfast and easy checkout before departure enroute to New Orleans Cruise Terminal.

Super clean & staff incredibly friendly, kind and caring.

Just an overnight stay. Room was large, clean and beautifully furnished. Large shower in bath and spa quality toiletries. Very friendly staff. We love Sleep Inns. Will use again when we cruise from New Orleans.

3rd time I have stayed at this hotel visiting my sons, will continue to choose this hotel for the location and nice rooms, to bad the jacuzzi doesn't work.

It had different restaurants that were walkable around the motel and a grocery store.

This is a very comfortable place to relax. It is very quiet. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are very clean, parking is real good. I extended my stay because it is in a great location. Close to restaurants, freeways and shopping. I enjoy being here because they keep it up.

Great location with an awesome cafe across the street! Very cute room with amenities. 2 blocks from the lake. It is a very quiet neighborhood and dark at night! Only thing I would say is first day you arrive arrive in the daylight to find your way around parking!

From the moment we arrived, I knew we would not want to check out. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and luxurious. The garden area was peaceful. The entire hotel encourages peace and relaxation. What a perfect location, too! Walking distance to all the sites of Abita Springs and quick drives to even more activities and restaurants. We would love to stay again. It was the perfect anniversary getaway spot!
