I stayed here for a 5-day, 4-night solo trip and had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and well maintained, but what really stood out was how friendly and helpful the staff was. From the moment I stepped out of the car, everyone I encountered (from the front desk to the concierge and other staff throughout the hotel) was welcoming, courteous, and helpful. My room was beautiful and very spacious, with a great city view. It was comfortable, well maintained, and gave me plenty of room to relax and enjoy my stay. Housekeeping serviced my room daily and did a great job. Everything was cleaned and replenished each day, so I never had to call or request additional towels, toiletries, or anything else for the room. The pool and hot tub area was beautiful and relaxing. The sauna was unfortunately out of service during my stay, but that was really the only amenity I wasn’t able to enjoy. The breakfast buffet was great, and I also liked having a bar on-site with TVs. I especially appreciated the hotel’s security. A room key card is required to use the elevators to access the guest floors, which made me feel more comfortable traveling alone. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.

No microwave in the rooms and guests had to call housekeeping for ice. And of course you had to tip so in effect i paid over $500/night AND had to pay (and wait) for ice.

Great hotel in the middle of the French Quarter. Walking distance to all attractions.

A Love Letter to Hotel New Orleans There are hotels you simply stay in, and then there are hotels that become part of the story. Hotel New Orleans belongs firmly in the latter category. From the moment you step inside, there is an unmistakable sense of place. The atmosphere carries that wonderfully intoxicating New Orleans character: romantic, mysterious, historic, and just a little bit decadent. It feels less like checking into a hotel and more like stepping into a beautifully preserved chapter of the city itself. The architecture and design strike a remarkable balance between sophistication and soul. Nothing feels sterile or overly polished. Instead, there is texture, character, and a sense that the building has stories of its own. The details invite you to slow down and actually look around. And that is perhaps what I appreciated most. Hotel New Orleans doesn’t simply accommodate you. It gives you an atmosphere to inhabit. After spending time wandering through the city, returning to the hotel felt like stepping back into a quieter world. There is something wonderfully cinematic about it, especially in the evening when New Orleans begins to take on that particular glow that makes the city feel almost dreamlike. The experience is elevated by the hospitality. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever making the experience feel formal or forced. Those little moments of thoughtful service are what transform a beautiful property very memorable.
