"The room was clean, the staff was friendly, transparent and welcoming especially since there was an issue with their system that day. However, we were looking forward to going for a swim but were told that the pool was closed for maintenance, when earlier that same day, we saw people swimming. That was the only problem we had with our stay, aside from having to pay for parking considering we had three different people drive in for this trip. Props to the staff for always giving a smile whenever there was an encounter though, smiles are always appreciated. "

"This place is excellent value for the price. Our room was small but very functional with everything we needed. Very clean and without unpleasant smells. The reason for not giving it 10/10 is that the shower didn’t work at all. It was too late at night to bring this up to staff but I am pretty they were aware of the problem or at least should have been and should have taken care of it before we checked in."

"The hotel is officially a 2-star but I do not know why - it is at least 3 stars IMO as far as the criteria typically used for classification. The two rooms I had reserved were both extremely well-appointed with in-room coffee, jacuzzis, and beautiful views. They were also very quiet. The staff was quite helpful. The only downside, which is really nothing wrong with the hotel itself, is that it is a couple of blocks down from the center of Port Townsend rather than right in the midst of it, but this was not a problem, it was just an extra 7-8 minute walk to the center. The reason I'd give it a 3 instead of 4 relates to things which really did not inconvenience us but which take it a click down from 4-star - no bathrobes, no on-site restaurant or convenience shop, no room service and the check-in desk isn't staffed overnight. Apart from these issues it was an excellent stay - I'd gladly return to this hotel on my next visit."

"I’ve stayed here several times and will continue to do so. Bedrooms: even the most standard room has a separate bedroom. The ac wasn’t working but we are barely in the room so it was fine. A fan was provided. Bathroom: standard. Our tub was completely clogged and they sent a maintenance person within 5min and he fixed it in 10min. It was so fast. Pool: keep in mind it’s salt water. More of a leisure pool and it’s never too busy which is great. Hot tub: not crazy hot but hot enough. The jets didn’t work on our last two visits. Staff: top notch. Everyone is wonderful. Location: excellent, close to everything."
