Mato Grosso do Sul is known for its spectacular terrain comprising a large part of the Pantanal wetlands. Indigenous tribes populated the area until the 18th century in this state, which offers an unspoiled and lesser-known alternative to the beach havens on the coast. Go scuba diving and rafting on the bright blue rivers that meander through this picturesque province.
Get an insight into the local culture with a stay in the state capital of Campo Grande. This eclectic metropolis blends a streetscape of traditional shops lining wide boulevards and modern towers and amenities. Dine at restaurants serving culinary fusions that mirror the influences of Bolivian, Japanese and Lebanese migration. The Feira Central open-air market and the Parque das Nações Indígenas are among the highlights.
Explore the wetlands of the famous Pantanal, a UNESCO site fed by 175 rivers. Visit during the dry season, from May to September. Take tours with boats and jeeps from the hubs of Coxim, Corumbá and Aquidauana. Spot jaguars, crocodiles and other fearsome creatures in these marshes. Charming colonial ranches where you can stay the night are dotted along the riverbanks.
Move southeast to the town of Bonito, which is an ideal base to explore the Serra da Bodoquena mountain range. It contains ecological parks offering activities, such as snorkeling, rafting and zip lining. Get around the parks on horseback. Delve into underwater caves to see a range of colorful fish. Among the highlights is the Blue Lake Cave.
Go fishing in the peaceful riverside towns of Porto Murtinho, Três Lagoas and Aparecida do Taboado.
The state is on the border with Paraguay and Bolivia in the Central-West Region of Brazil. Fly to one of the international airports of Campo Grande, Corumbá or Ponta Porã. Get around the state with long-haul buses and car rentals. Note that a yellow fever vaccination is recommended, before entering the state.
With its scenic wetlands, mountain ranges and rivers, Mato Grosso do Sul is emerging as a top destination for outdoor activities.

Such a pretty hotel, really lovely setting. Slightly further out of town than expected but easy walk in. Not cheapest option but great value for money & great breakfast, highly recommend. Really helpful staff but limited English- google translate needed.
What incredible pools and a kiddie area including a trampoline. The breakfast was delicious and the pool for adults was a lot of fun.
The grounds are beautiful. There are wild birds and small mammals. However, it’s not really an eco resort. Plastic water bottles and non reusable plastic cups are the norm. The rooms need updating and the pool area is drowned with bad and loud music.
Property is clean and comfortable. Bed is very good. Their gym have weights and run mills. Did not use the pool but it looks clean and tempting. Restaurant have good selection on the menu, and the bar have several alternatives.

Second, this hotel can be used for business or relaxing. It is close the National Indian Park and you can do a 5 or 10 k run or walk inside... and ...
