"Excellent hotel, was a bit disappointed with breakdast, it was still good but have had better.
The only thing i found that was annoying, was the room doors are spring loaded and no one seemed to know how to shut a door quietly. When the doors bang shut the rooms aroind shook"
"We only stayed for one night in an accessible room ( we are in no way disabled, this room was assigned to us) in an annex of the hotel.
The room was spacious and clean and we were provided with dressing gowns and slippers.
The receptionist who checked us in was friendly and cheerful and the process was fast and easy. Getting some drinks at the bar proved a little tricky as one member of the bar staff was still training and the other lady did not handle a small issue as well as she might have. This didn’t ruin our experience by any means.
Breakfast was a well stocked buffet. The hot options were hot and nicely presented. All in all, worth the cost.
We would certainly stay here again if we required accommodation in Ayr."
"Staff very helpful and friendly. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Unfortunately the view from the back rooms is not very pleasant (room 570) may be better further along the corridor"
"Rooms a bit in need of an update but very c!ean. Excellent location, especially if you get a sunny day. Short walk to the town. Breakfast was excellent. Good menu. Traditional Scottish breakfast was superb. Good quality ingredients, well cooked and presented. Also nice to get pots of tea or coffee instead of from a machine."
"Glenapp was the last stop before home, on our NC500 honeymoon. The staff as always were delightful & very helpful. The welcome is always special here & there were plenty of help to carry all our unorganised belongings to accomodate us all.
This time we had our dog with us & Glenapp's policy suited us well, he had a welcom pack & was made extremely comfortable.
Our room was spacious & well maintained. We dont expect dogs to be allowed in the restaurant area & the policy was that Ozzy was aloud to stay behind in the room.
We ate in the potting shed of the Azalea, We were greeted by Jen, a lovely chatty, bubbly & profesional resturant manager. As we ate early & the other couples didn't have an issue, she very kindly allowed us to have ozzy sitting quietly at our table.
It shouldn't be expected but honestly just the small personal touches & personalities is what make your stay special. We will be back to try our the new "Nest"
Many Thanks"
