“The cabin was perfect for us. Made a great base for exploring the island. If you don't have time for self-catering, there are several decent eating places within an easy walk.”

“We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.”

“This is a beautiful spacious cabin, warm, fresh and spotless. We had an excellent 2 nights there. The quality of the kitchen is high and the bathroom. As for the view from the front of the cabin over the river, it was gorgeous. We had 2 splendid evenings sitting out listening to multiple birds and enjoying the evening calm. ”

“The property was beautiful. The owners were extremely friendly. Was cleanier then a 5 Star Hotel you could feel the care. Bed was very comfortable and had a sound sleep. This tiny home was really thought thru woth heated floors and every appliance of a real home,in luding dish washer and heated towel rack. Truely happy to have booked and will do again given the chance. Extremely happy guest. ”
