"It was a perfect accommodation for 2 adult couples plus single staying two nights in the area for family wedding. While not on beach per se it was walkable to pier and bay access. Fishing and crabbing from pier or with your boat. House was very clean and well equipped, showed recent renovation and updates. Comfortable beds, house well stocked with towels, bedding, pillows. Well equipped kitchen with new appliances. Plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, etc. Airy and light interior. Accommodating floor plan for both privacy and socializing. Upstairs loft not suitable or easily accessible for adults but inviting for child's play or sleep. Quiet surroundings, even with adjacent RV park and marina activity. Not a choice if night life, shopping, entertainment and city life is your vibe. Do not expect lengthy ocean beach walking as those properties are mostly private homes and there is a waterfront protection barrier blocking access. Perfect for laid back relaxation, reading, walking, nature, birdwatching, retreat, etc. Walk to Nelson Fish Market to buy seafood. Sport and commercial fishing. Excellent dining at historic Tokeland Hotel about 5 min away. We would return!"

"Check in was super simple and super fast. House was adorable and clean as well as clearly labeled! They left us snacks and drinks even and made it the least stressful stay we've had in a long time!"

"We spent the entire weekend at the property because it was so relaxing and had everything we needed. It was summer so we were outside all day just fishing and playing with the outdoor games provided. Then in the evening we went from the hot tub to the sauna and back again! Only coming inside to finally shower and rest. Our dog loved the space as well, with plenty or room to roam and places to explore. Yes, the neighbors do have ATVs that they like to take out but they aren't rude, just having fun themselves on the weekends. It didn't go into the night. And the property is private, there is another house way, way up on a hill behind the cabin, but I would not call it over looked like another reviewer commented. You hang out at the back only, by the river so its private. There were lots of little touches that made our stay feel special! We would 100% stay here again! "

"This was our second stay here while visiting family in the area. Everything was as we anticipated. The cabin is located in a very peaceful setting and was very relaxing. Close to town for necessities. Debbie was very quick to respond to any comments or needs. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area! "

Beautiful house, really comfortable bedding, all the kitchenware you could need, huge trees, isolated, nature, what more could you want??This is not a typical vacation rental with just the basics. Nice leather couches and chairs. Fire place, bbq, and little extras that make this an easy stay. "
