I was given a room on the top floor. It was very comfortable and had everything I needed. As someone who works from their hotel room the desk arrangement isn’t ideally suited to that but I made it work.
The restaurant was fabulous food and drinks and clearly was a destination spot for locals which meant there was a really buzzy atmosphere. There was also a wet bag in the room for those who swim in the river but I used it for my gym gear.
Tea and coffee facilities are outside the room on the landing which was a bit quirky but nonetheless was a great facility.
The staff throughout were excellent and the whole atmosphere was of a place where people enjoyed working.
I was visiting Barfüsserplatz for work so the hotel is not right in the centre but a 10 min walk up/down an incline past all the lovely shops. A big supermarket just nearby.
Really enjoyable stay and no doubt will go back.
